Event description: Noted child psychiatrist and ADHD expert Dr. Edward Hallowell explores the biological basis for many childhood behavioral problems. Dr. Hallowell will discuss how to identify these problems and when to seek help. He will look at the obstacles children face in dealing with ADHD, learning, and anxiety-related difficulties. Bring your questions. Edward (Ned) Hallowell, M.D., a child and adult psychiatrist, is the founder of the Hallowell Centers in Sudbury, MA and New York City. He was a member of the Harvard Medical School faculty from 1983 to 2004, when he retired from academics to devote full attention to clinical practice, lectures, and writing. He has authored 19 books on psychological topics.
