Event description:

Cow horn was the plastic of the 18th century! Observe a horn worker heating horn to soften, shape and smooth or flatten to make useful 
products of buttons, lantern panes, knife handles, shoe horns and modern usages.

The Museum has "period rooms" from the 1800's and features a new exhibit every summer. On the Museum grounds there is a carriage house containing a farm tool display and a two-seater privy! Also on the grounds is the Foster-Meeker House which is being restored and currently hosts as an educational programs for children and adults alike. On Saturdays, a Farmers Market takes place from 9am-1pm.
