Wampum Man: Come and see quahogo shell beads made using authentic Native and Dutch style tools from of our historic past. Also see the coins of Nieuw Amsterdam and 1600's New York along with original antique 17th C items used to trade with Native people. Quill Writing: See how ink is made and try your hand at using black walnut ink and a quill just as our forefathers did to write the Declaration of Independence.

  • The Museum has "period rooms" from the 1800's and features a new exhibit every summer. On the Museum grounds there is a carriage house containing a farm tool display and a two-seater privy! Also on the grounds is the Foster-Meeker House which is being restored and currently hosts as an educational programs for children and adults alike. On Saturdays, a Farmers Market takes place from 9am-1pm.
