Westmoreland Sanctuary

Mt. Kisco

All Ages

Description: Learn about the fascinating lifestyle of the Cicada and explore the insect world. How many kinds of Cicadas are there? What is the life cycle of this unique creature? This is also an opportunity to bring questions about other insects that surround us during the summer months. Bring in a photo of that giant cricket you found in the basement, or ask about the beetles eating your roses. This program will be guest-taught by a naturalist coming from Naples, FL (where bugs are prevalent year-round) and is FREE to the public. RSVP requested at 914-666-8448.
