Event description: "Journey" brings to life seven historical African-American women, including Harriet Tubman, a young slave woman, Sojourner Truth, Rosa Parks and Maya Angelou. Through music, and character transformation, the performance takes the audience to a place and time that history books sometime forget. The production provides an opportunity to celebrate and share Black History and the numerous achievements and contributions the African-American culture has made in the United States and the world.
