Event description: Originally produced by the New York Shakespeare Festival Theatre, HAIR tells the story of the "tribe," a group of politically active, long-haired hippies of the "Age of Aquarius," living a bohemian life in New York City and fighting against conscription into the Vietnam War. This musical features the songs "Aquarius," "Good Morning Starshine," "Hair," and "I Believe In Love," among others.

Note: as in the original Broadway productions, this show contains strong language and nudity and is not recommended for children younger than 18. Parental discretion is advised.

Book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado. Music by Galt MacDermot. Produced for the Broadway Stage by Michael Butler.
