Award winning author, Amalia Hoffman will share her personal journey and inspiration in writing her book, The Brave Cyclist: The True Story of a Holocaust Hero. Join in a discussion about how Gino Bartali's heroic acts during the Holocaust can inspire us to achieve social justice, diversity and mutual respect in our society. Find out what is “Tikun Olam” and how each one of us can contribute to making the world a better place and fight bullying. Presentation will include picture viewing from the collection of Gino Bartali’s grand daughter. For grades 1-6.
