Wolf Conservation Center

South Salem

All Ages

$15; $12 children ages 12 and younger

Description: Not many people have witnessed lions feeding on a kill, wild wolves playing with their pups, and chased Fin Whales on a small zodiac...before they are fifteen.

Join the Wolf Conservation Center to meet friend and supporter, Tommy Whiteley, a 9th grader and steward of the newest generation with an uncommon passion for animals and the wild world. He has had many unique experiences, and has met many world-renowned conservationists. Tommy will be speaking about his experiences in nature, from close encounters in the Alaskan wilderness to tracking whales off the coast of Greenland. He will also be speaking about the importance of his generation on the planet. Guests will visit the WCC wolves after the talk. The WCC will earmark all WCC revenue from this program to the "Atka's Angels Scholarship Fund" as an effort to introduce more children to the wild wonders of wolves and our natural world by extending its offsite programs to children in economically disadvantaged school systems. Pre-registration is required. Please dress for COLD weather. Information and registration are available at nywolf.org.
