Event description: Birds of prey, or raptors, such as eagles, hawks, falcons and owls, are hunting birds with hooked beaks and powerful grabbing feet armed with sharp talons. Their eyesight and hearing are among the best in the animal kingdom. This :45 minute presentation, with five live birds by Wingmasters, will explain predation by raptors, their place at the top of the food web, their different hunting adaptations and their status in a rapidly changing world.
