This year’s Yorktown Grange Fair theme is “We’ve Got A Good Thing Growing” and there are certainly an abundance of great things to celebrate at the fair. Local exhibitors are the heart of the fair, so stop by the Jerry Mulcahy Memorial Building and see the stunning floral displays and prize-winning produce. The Grange Building is filled with homemade baked goods, incredible needlework, beautiful photographs, artwork and more. And don't miss the livestock barns and tents, where you can see animals "up close and personal" and chat with their friendly caretakers. The fair midway is always humming with games, rides, great food and craft beer. The stage will be rockin' all weekend with music sure to please everyone from the littlest fairgoers to their grandparents! You'll have a blast in the audience participation contests. Try your hand ad nail driving, bubble gum blowing, watermelon eating and more. Check out the tipsy waiter relay – it's as much fun to watch as to play! There are always good things growing in the backyard and the 98th Annual Grange Fair is ready to celebrate the local community continually reaching for the sun.
