On June 24, NYU Langone Health will open the doors to the Helen L. and Martin S. Kimmel Pavilion, a new inpatient facility. The building includes Hassenfeld Children's Hospital—34th Street, NYU Langone’s new flagship location for pediatric care and the first children's hospital built in New York City in nearly 15 years.

Kids Country Day Camp Launches Summer Quest Program to Teach Campers About the Environment

Kids Country Day Camp, based in Mount Sinai, is launching a new Summer Quest program this summer designed to teach children about the planet and its natural environment. The program runs for eight weeks and kicks off on the the first day of camp, June 25. Each week will have a different theme dedicated to a specific region or biome, including Antartica, Australia and the Amazon rainforest. Children will participate in fun games and activities that offer an introduction to these and other geographical areas.

The newest member of the team is the director Jesse Dryden, an instructor at the National Circus School of Montreal and former creative director of Circus Smirkus for ten years. Watch as these celestial celebrities rocket into stardom, exploring circus through a cosmic lens. Alone in the galaxy, their talent only eclipsed by their solar flair. Come dance among the stars while they chase comets, dive through black holes, juggle moons, and defy gravity. Prepare to be dazzled as you discover what happens when you wish upon a star. Camp Maritime launches its inaugural season on June 25. It will offer a variety of activities for children ages 8 to 14 who have an interest in maritime culture. Campers will learn skills such as kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, fishing, sailing, and motor-boating. Children must have basic swimming skills and be capable of light exertion to participate in camp.
