Stuart's Fruit Farm Undergoes Decade-Long Protection Project

Westchester Land Trust (WLT) underwent a decade-long, $3 million project to permanently protect Stuart’s Fruit Farm in Somers, NY, according to a press release. The conservation easement ensures that the farm’s 172 acres be used for agricultural purposes only. Had it not been placed, the land could have been sold for residential development.

43rd Street Kids Preschool is opening a half-day afternoon class for 3's and 4's in September 2018. Like our morning class, the afternoon session will include swim lessons, creative dance, music, art and gardening as part of our rich, play-based curriculum. The class will meet Monday through Friday from 1PM until 5PM. Early drop off at 12:30 and late pick up at 6PM are additional options. 43rd Street Kids Preschool had been providing high quality early childhood education, at affordable prices, for 30 years.
