Soccer is a developmental program for Babies getting ready to become Toddlers designed around the sport of soccer. Soccer is simple for even the youngest toddlers to enjoy. Soon after walking, toddlers start to use their large motor skills to run, jump and kick! These skills directly translate into the game of soccer and they quickly begin to enjoy putting the ball into the net. Building strength and coordination at a young age gives children a physical developmental advantage. Learning to work with teammates helps develop social skills. The earlier a child can start teaching their bodies the correct form for kicking and passing, the better chance they will have to develop advanced abilities. Also teaching the joys of exercise and team sports can help them learn habits that will keep them healthier and happier in the future. Great Bonding time with caregiver. Great Opportunity to share with other children!
This is a wonderful introduction to group activities for your child. Soccer is the most appropriate sport for this age child. Kicking a soccer ball is the next natural gross motor skill leading on from walking/running. Apart from the obvious physical development benefits this class will provide, your child will make friends for the first time in a setting where they can play taking turns and sharing. Your child will grow and learn developmentally at their own pace--not anyone else's. All children participating in a Soccer R us Mommy/Daddy & Me class will have a parent/carer on the playing area with them during the class. As your child progresses to be more independent, parent/carers can take their cues from the coach when to 'hang back' and let them participate independently. You will also be told by the coach when your child is ready to move to our regular independent Soccer classes.
Soccer R us Toddler soccer is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling, and the basic rules of the game. Through fun games, songs, and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. Soccer R us will be Using creative and imaginative games to help introduce the game of soccer to pre-schoolers and children to age 4. Week by week the sessions will focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting. We will also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork, and appreciation. Soccer R Us will expose your child to the fun of soccer and provide the foundation needed to get started in the sport. Everyone will play and we will enforce a lot of interaction so that the children can enjoy this beautiful game.
These classes are designed to help transition children into non-competitive team play. Children play creative games to develop fundamental soccer skills and will also be introduced to more one-ball oriented games and scrimmaging. The focus of the scrimmages will be to help players understand how to apply skills in different situations and building teamwork. Some small sided non-competitive soccer games are introduced.
For five and six year-olds who have not played a lot of soccer before, or who respond better to a low-key environment. Classes build basic soccer skills (dribbling, passing, trapping, scoring) and develop a sense of confidence on the field. Players will also learn sportsmanship and team play. Some small-sided, yet non-competitive soccer games are played to enhance learning how to apply skills in game situations..
This program is for children who are new to soccer or who want to build upon what they have learned in Soccer R us or any other organization. Focusing on individual skill, fitness, and sportsmanship, each session provides an opportunity for kids to be challenged through fun games and team competitions. Children will also be introduced to tactical elements of the game as they prepare to play on competitive teams. This will program allows children to learn the game of soccer even if they have never touched a ball, and if they have played before they will be able to continue their soccer development with both practices and real soccer games. We will provide every practice with learning and making it a fun environment. We want our children to be eager about coming back to soccer every time!
