Christy's Gymnastics

Christy’s Gymnastics, established in 1984, is a full service gymnastics school. What separates Christy’s gymnastics from all other gymnastics facilities is our reputation as a school. Our mission is to teach students at their own pace utilizing small student teacher ratios. No matter how much experience a student has, it’s our goal to help each child reach their potential. Each child comes to us with their own goals and expectations.  Whether it be to have fun in a recreational program or work toward competition, we have a program and a teacher for you.

One of our school’s finest assets is our staff. Led by owner Christine Phillips, a founding member of USA Gymnastics, our staff proudly boasts a carefully selected group of former gymnasts, preschool and middle school teachers, and internationally trained coaches. 

Our program starts at age 1 ½ with an early childhood program call Wee Tumble. This parent participation class is the perfect blend of instruction and play. Wee Tumble is the “head start” each child needs to feel confident in their movement. It’s the “stepping stone” to the next program, the Junior Gym class. In this program your preschooler is ready to separate from you and take this class independently. 

Gym time is our recreational program where children, ages six and older, learn gymnastics in a fun, yet challenging environment. Students learn at their own pace and in small groups with a 7 to one student/teacher ratio.

For those students who desire that “little bit more”, we, at Christy’s, have developed a Rising Stars Program where children work with a star chart to earn ribbons and medals. Risings Stars is our path to the competitive team. 

The Competitive Program is for those gymnasts who desire to represent themselves and the school in the competitive arena. Christy’s has proudly trained many local, regional and national champions.

In addition to our many gymnastic programs, you may also celebrate birthdays with us. Our fabulous birthday parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays and boasts a climbing wall, two trampolines, and inflatables.
