Dorothy P. Flint Nassau County 4-H Sleep-Away Camp.
DPF 4-H Camp is a 140 acre co-ed sleep-away camp for campers ages 8-16 Our camp is located on the majestic Long Island Sound in Riverhead, NY. Our camp is accredited by the American Camp Association and licensed and inspected by the Suffolk County Department of Health.
Being one of the oldest 4H camp in the state, we are dedicated to ensuring your child’s safety and fun while offering high quality 4H educational programs. All in and environment that allows for personal growth in which diverse youth and adults reach their fullest potential as capable, competent, and caring citizens.
All this while creating MEMORIES THAT WILL LAST A LIFETIME.
Specialty Programs * Additional cost applies
Our specialty programs are a set of classes that campers sign up for before they arrive at camp and run for half the day, four days per camp week.
Step on down to our horse barn where your camper will spend the week learning to care for and ride our horses. This program is great for both campers who have never ridden before and those looking to further their horseback riding skills.
High Ropes Climbing Adventure
Your camper will gain confidence as they pursue success on our unique 5-Station High Ropes challenge course. The adventure includes a 35 Foot tall rock climbing and rappelling tower, zipline, and various platform obstacles.
