Our mission is to provide fun, innovative opportunities to learn for children aged 4-10 in a supportive, creative and playful environment. Our campers from all over the world will feel at home and be fully immersed in the French language.

Making the most of our exciting new spaces for creating and making, campers will take part in a range of activities tailored to their level of development.  Programs in art, design, crafts, media, storytelling and theater offer campers engaging ways to develop their curiosity and strengthen their French-language skills. All levels of fluency in French welcome, from beginners to native-level speakers.

Join us for an adventurous week in a world of discovery, where a passion for learning and creating begins! The French language lies at the heart of our program, through formal instruction and immersion in a range of engaging activities.

Art & crafts
Collage, papier mâché, painting and sculpture through the discovery of major French artist

Taste discovery through baking simple dishes

Listening, learning and singing to French songs

Motor skills and coordination development through basic ball play, climbing, running and obstacle courses

Art of the narrative, character development through traditional French stories

Acting games for body control and expression

Campers explore the worlds of theater, art, media, design and music with lots of time for play. The French language is central to all programs, through formal instruction and immersion. Specific activities allow students of all French levels to benefit from our camp that will vary each week:

Arts & Crafts
Collage, water colors, pastels inspired by French painters.

Acting games and techniques (body control, self-expression and improvisation)

Narrative, character development and beginning playwriting, with productions created in our media lab

Learning to sing together in a small group choir

Rock climbing, classic French ball games (e.g. pétanque)

Join us for an entire week on the art of theater! Each week, campers will develop acting, writing, storytelling and leadership skills through the creation and promotion of their own play in French. Camp concludes with a performance for family and friends!

Learn acting techniques, memorizing lines, diction and improvisation

Write, record audio and develop promotional materials all in French in our media lab

Art & Design
Create and build set and costumes in our maker space

Discover the basics of life behind the scenes in theater

Get an early start on your child's bilingual education at one of the most renowned bilingual schools in New York City. In fall 2019, the Lycée opens its new full-day bilingual Nursery-3s program. Non-French speakers are welcome in this authentic, immersive program that combines play with structured activities, using real-world projects to engage children in the community.
