The Purchase College Aquatics Instructional Program runs year round and offers children’s group lessons, adult lessons, specialty programs and a family recreational swim. All lessons are taught according to American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim guidelines by certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors and are held in our beautiful six-lane pool and diving well, heated for swim lesson comfort.

During the School Year, Children’s Group Lessons are offered on Saturday and Sunday mornings 10:00 am through 1:00 pm.

Children’s lessons include Children and Parent Aquatics, Learn-to-Swim (Levels 1-6). Specialty classes—Beginner & Intermediate Adult lessons, Private and Semi-Private lessons, and Springboard Diving are offered on Saturday and/or Sundays. Our Family Swim (for Aquatics program participants), offered on Saturday or Sunday from 12:00-1:00 PM, gives you time to practice or play as a family. Scuba Diving and Lifeguard certifications are offered several times a year. Summer Session, Children’s Group Lessons ( Levels 1-6) are 2-week intensives, and given Monday through Thursday at 3:30 or 4:30 pm. Parent & Child classes and Levels 1-4 are offered at 9:30 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday morningsdiate. Summer Adult Beginner & Intermediate Lessons are offered on Tuesday and or Thursday evenings. Various discounts are offered each session and ample parking is conveniently located behind the facility.

The Purchase College Aquatics Program runs year-round in our sparkling, six-lane pool and features children's group lessons, parent and child classes (6 months and older), and specialty programs including adult lessons, private and semi-private lessons, and Pre-Competitive Swimming Group workouts. Swimming is an excellent workout for your health.
