Winston Preparatory School is a highly individualized and responsive setting for students in grades 3 through 12 with learning differences such as dyslexia, nonverbal learning disabilities, expressive or receptive language disorders and executive functioning problems. Our unique model of education for the individual provides intense skill remediation while encouraging students to build independence, resilience, responsibility, self-awareness, and self-advocacy.

Each film brings the Winston Prep campuses to life, and offers you an understanding of the essence of Winston Prep through the voices of our faculty, school leaders, parents, and students. Here you will learn more about our renowned Focus program, understand the process of program design, see arts and athletics in action, visit a Winston graduation, and see how lives of students and families are profoundly changed by our culture and community.
Our mission is to facilitate the independence of individuals with learning difficulties through assessment driven individualized education, research and outreach.
