UPDATED July 2019: Looking for ideas for fun after-school activities for your children on Long Island? From academic enrichment and tutors to music, performing arts, dance, art, and sports programs, Nassau and Suffolk counties have a variety of after-school programs for kids. Long Island after-school music classes include mommy-and-me music classes, private and group instrument and voice lessons, and DJ instruction. Little artists have the opportunity to work with a wide range of materials, including fashion and 3-D design, painting, drawing, sculpture, and ceramics. Our musical theater workshops offer training in various skills needed to participate in a musical theater production. The program begins with auditions for a selected Broadway musical, however all participants are given speaking, singing, and dancing opportunities.
