How To Get Involved at School — when time is a problem

(Sep. 07, 2006) - As a working parent, I know quite well the challenge of finding the time and place to get involved in my children’s school. But from my vantage point as an educator, I can’t emphasize enough just how important such involvement is.

Computer Literacy:

(Jan. 24, 2006) - Let’s face it: Our children need computer skills to succeed in life. Starting to use the computer at a young age can be very positive. However, as with all technology — from television, to DVD watching, to video games — a healthy dose of parental involvement and supervision is critical.
