  Families First Brooklyn is a playspace and community center that offers classes for children, weekly support groups for new moms, and informational workshops for parents.

Park Slope Parents is a group of local parents dedicated to supporting families in Brooklyn by providing a way to exchange information about parenting and living in an urban environment. Resources include two list serves that help parents quickly garner information on all aspects of parenting and offline events to generate community spirit. Metropolitan Moms will take you and your baby on museum visits, gallery walks, culinary adventures, and neighborhood historical explorations. Think of it as a "mommy and me" class that educates the mom a little more than the baby! Met Moms also offers classes for toddlers, preschoolers, gradeschoolers and adults.
  Slings in the City is a group for parents who "wear" their babies instead of pushing a stroller.  They get together regularly and trade, compare and learn about new carriers offers babies as young as one month, children in pre-school or Kindergarten, and toddlers anywhere, a unique combination of American Sign Language with music, games, stories, and dramatic play.  Sign Language Books, Adult ASL classes and Birthday Party entertainment also available. is Long Island's only Mommy and Baby Luncheons organization.

Mothers & More is a national, non-profit organization  dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, is a national non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, education and  advocacy. We address mothers' needs as individuals and members of society, and  promote the value of all the work mothers do. Local chapter Moms of Westchester is the best way to meet other moms, through playgroups, family outings, and moms-only events.

mom2mom of northern Westchester offers age appropriate playdates, weekly themed playgroups, walks on the trail, trips to local parks, museums, the aquarium and zoo, volunteering for local charities, as well as fun moms nights out whether it's meeting up for a movie, a book club, game night or just getting out of the house for a glass of wine. Join the warm and inspiring group of Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) for our every other Wednesday morning meetings at St. Paul's Church (471 Mansfield Avenue, Darien, CT, 06820) from 9:15am-11:30am.  What is MOPS?  MOPS is about celebrating motherhood, meeting needs and making connections through relationships with other mothers of preschoolers.  MOPS offers not only childcare for little ones but "mom care" for moms.  A MOPS morning consists of a breakfast followed by an inspirational speaker and a craft time. 


Mocha Moms Inc. of Westchester is a support group for women of color who have either chosen not to work full-time outside of the home in order to devote more time to their families or have otherwise made raising their children their first priority.  While many of our members have eliminated employment altogether, others work full-time, part-time, flex-time, night shifts, have home-based businesses, consult or freelance from home or have chosen alternative, less demanding career paths so that they are more available to their families. Our members predominantly reside in Westchester County with additional members from other neighboring areas.  Membership inquiries can be sent to
