Sky Zone Offers Programs for Toddlers, Those with Special Needs

Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Center in Deer Park now offers two special jump times: a sensory jump time for children with special needs and a toddler jump time. During both times, the facility is closed to others to provide a safe jumping environment.

Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Center offers Toddler Time and Sky Zone Cares for children to stay active.

Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Center in Deer Park is known for providing visitors with memorable experiences since it opened its doors in 2014. The center has recently added two new programs, one catered for toddlers and the other for children with special needs, to its list of activities as part of its efforts to further accommodate its diverse groups of customers.

Toddler Time allows children ages 5 and younger to have the Sky Zone facilities to themselves. “[The program] is designed so that our parents, children, and staff can interact with one another,” says manager Michael Kaminsky.

The Sky Zone Cares program dedicates an entire afternoon to children with special needs. During that time, the environment of the facility is altered to accommodate the children by monitoring loud noises and having a higher court monitor-to-jumper ratio. Sky Zone’s staff is also certified and extensively trained to work with children with special needs. Since its implementation, Sky Zone Cares has garnered positive feedback from the community. “We’re very proud of this program,” Kaminsky says.

Toddler Time is offered on Saturdays from 9-11am during July and August, and Tuesday-Friday from 11am-2pm and Saturday from 9-11am September through June. Sky Zone Cares is offered on the first Monday of every month from 3-7pm.
